Evolution and combat mechanics

Combat in EvoWars.io revolves around the relationship between character size and mobility. As you accumulate experience points from orbs and eliminated rivals, your warrior grows into higher tiers. Early stages move briskly, allowing agile positioning and swift retreats. Higher evolution tiers wield massive swords and axes that strike opponents from significant distance, yet they suffer from slower walking speeds. Managing this tradeoff is essential, especially since sprinting burns valuable experience points that could otherwise support your next evolution.

Tips and strategy

Harvest outer orbs early: Scavenge along the outer edges of the map during early stages to gain experience points without risking combat against larger foes.
Exploit small-stage agility: Use your superior base movement speed at early levels to dodge heavy swings from sluggish giants.
Conserve your sprint meter: Sprinting drains accumulated experience points, so reserve speed boosts for securing guaranteed eliminations or retreating from dangerous traps.
Respect extended weapon reach: Larger opponents can hit from afar, so attack them only when their weapon swing is recovering or from an unexpected angle.
